Wow! Has It Really Been 6 Yrs.?

Wow! While we were waiting it felt like forever.  Now the time seems to be flying by so quickly!

 After waiting two yrs. and two months I finally Gotcha in my arms!

God has blessed us so much with this spunky, curious, talkative, smart,
strong willed outgoing and very silly girl.  We love you!

After a yummy dinner at Chopstix we headed over to 

Frost!  You can tell by Jaden and Chloe's face that it was a great dessert!

A Cute New Look

The eye Dr. told us we shouldn't have a problem with her keeping her glasses
on because she can barely see without them. : (  At least now she is starting to
recognize her alphabet. Poor girl couldn't see a thing. I miss our original doctor.
She was so on top of things. Now I feel like I have to figure out so much on
my own, even her ears last year. I had to insist she get them checked out.
Her ENT helped me get her into speech therapy. It is just frustrating. :-/
So......  I guess it is time to look for a new pediatric doctor.
At least now she can hear and see!

SeaWorld

Soon as Chloe saw the penguins she ran right
 over to give them a  big hug!

Chloe is trying to imitate Jaden and her
 little pose. She is always making us giggle!

Thank goodness for the few little kiddie rides.
Chloe was upset because she couldn't go on the
other rides with her sisters because she is too short.

Miss Sarah had fun especially on the wild rides. 

We all had a wonderful time at SeaWorld. Sarah and Jaden loved the new ride "Mantis"!! They didn't mind the 45 minute wait for the 2 minute ride.

Oh and we can't forget the Star of the show!

Jaden loves it!

Chloe struggling with getting away from the icky seaweed as Sarah
and Jaden head out to jump waves. 

 Whew! I made it! " Now would someone please tell me
why everyone thinks this beach stuff is so much fun?"

La Cholla had quite a bit of seaweed. So for our next
beach day we decided to go to the beach in Oceanside
and it was much better. No seaweed at all.  Apparently
they have much more than seaweed. A week after we
came home we saw on the news La  Cholla  Beach was
closed due to a Great White Shark!! :-/  Sarah and Jaden
were going far into the water to jump waves. Thankful
for the Lord watching over them.

Oceanside was much nicer and prettier. Chloe
didn't mind the small rocks at all.

Chloe did eventually start to enjoy the water coming up and
surprising her.

My picture of Sarah disappeared and I can't seem 

to add it in at the end. She loved the ocean and jumping waves. 

Just like her momma! Although this time I didn't do much jumping 

waves. I was very nervous busy just watching her and Jaden

 jumping waves.    

Another First For Sarah And Chloe

her toes.  She wanted it off her feet.

Happy Father's Day!

All morning Jaden was teasing her dad about wrapping his Father's Day gifts in pink wrapping paper. Their big brother Chris had picked up one of the gifts for us. I didn't realize how heavy it was and there was no way we could use a gift bag. So we used the only wrapping paper we had... PINK! LOL It was very easy to hide it with all of Chloe's birthday presents.

A Very Special Birthday.... On Fathers Day!

  Three weeks after we arrived home with Chloe we celebrated her first birthday. She was very excited to get presents, yet I know she really didn't understand. 

Just like Gotcha Day when her sisters each had their birthday's she wanted to know when she was going to have a birthday. She constantly was asking when it was going to be her birthday. 

When she realized her birthday was getting closer she came 

up to me and whispered in my ear that she wanted Mac and Cheese 

for her birthday dinner. This little girl was beyond excited to have her 

very own birthday celebration!

What a difference a year has made in our precious little girls live!

She was so excited to blow out her candles she couldn't wait for
us to stop singing Happy Birthday!
Good job blowing out those candles!
(Takes more concentration for little ones
with repaired cleft lip and palate. The air
tends to come out their nose)

So we relit the candles and let her do it again when we
were done singing and she made her wish.
(great practice for her) ;)

I love this picture! Chloe is such a little character with

She is so animated. She always makes us laugh with all the different facial expressions she comes up with!
