Has It Really Been Five Years?

 Five years ago I held you in my arms for the very first time!

You weren't so sure about it all. By the next morning when

we went back to finish the paperwork the directors assistant 

put her hands out to hold you and you went right into her arms. 

Then after a few seconds you looked at me and her a few times 

and then reached your arms out for me to take you and I took you

back into my arms as my heart leaped for joy, knowing that it was

 totally the Lord!!! We new that He had heard and answered our

 prayers to prepare and protect your little heart from all 

the changes coming in your sweet little life.

You became my little velcro baby stuck to my side

ever since and we have been so blessed!  

We are so thankful and blessed that He chose us to 

be your Mommy and Daddy. We love you more than

words can say.

My flower that never quite made it into the house.
 She has filled our lives with sunshine..................
And our hearts with so much love. 

We were told she mimicked everything and she still does.
As we were getting ready for her brothers wedding she
 saw one of the bridesmaids putting on false eyelashes.
A few days later she is cutting strips of black construction
paper and the next thing you know she is giggling away.
(Don't you just love the chocolate lip liner?!)
