Visa Day!!
Home and now loving the little animal she was afraid of.
A few weeks ago this precious girl told me she was afraid
she would age out and never have a family.
(My heart just ached for her)
So she prefers Family Day over Gotcha Day.
We new you were are daughter the minute we saw your face!
We love you!
I saw this scripture written on the chalkboard a few weeks ago.
I will not leave you as orphans;
I will come to you.
John 14:18
When Sarah was reading her bible she discovered it and
was very excited.
We have been studying the book of Isaiah in Bible Study Fellowship.
Both of the girls wanted to go with me and they are loving it!
You are a very hard working young lady!
You have amazed us with all you have
accomplished and learned over this past year.
We are so proud of you!
She is such a beautiful girl!! Happy Family Day!
ReplyDeleteHappy Family Day! She has blossomed so much this past year and looks so happy!
ReplyDeleteOh Kathy--the smiles are so genuine now--not of a "happy to have a family but scared to death" smile--we all know well. What an amazing moment that must have been when she shared her heart about not ever finding a family--Wow! I can't imagine how that felt.
ReplyDeleteI remember her on the AWAA list for a very long time--and then one day it said, "Family Pending" and now it's no longer "Family Pending", it's "YOU have a FAMILY." She is a sweet heart indeed.
She really has blossomed in the arms of your love, security, wisdom and guidance. It's a miracle indeed. She has overcome soooo much, that we can only begin to understand.
Bless you, your family and her on this VERY special day!
Lisa
Happy Family Day to you all. We can't wait to see what's next!
ReplyDeleteHappy Forever Family Day! a bit late!
ReplyDeleteI love how her eyes disappear when she smiles so big, so so adorable. She certainly looks much happier than she did when we were all in China :) She looks like a different girl, much happier that is for sure!
