My sweet Piper,

Has it been a year already since I have seen
your precious face and  felt the nudging in
my heart from His Holy Spirit? Everyday
I am drawn back to your picture as I pray for
you and His will in our lives.
I knew from the moment I saw you that you
were a gift from our Father above,
our beautiful daughter.
You see, a year earlier your dad, little sister
and I were all swimming and I saw four
beautiful butterflies fluttering and dancing
all around us as we were in the pool.
I knew right then that our family wasn't
complete, we had another daughter waiting
in China. His hands would guide the way and
open the doors to His precious child that He
alone had chosen for us.
So, my sweet precious girl, please know we
haven't forgotten you. We are busy working
our way to you. I pray that you feel our Father's
loving arms around you as He comforts you
and fills you with His peace that surpasses
all understanding. I found this poem that
says it all so well........

Kisses in the wind, I hold you in my heart and
touch you in my dreams. You are here each day
with me, at least that's how it seems.  I know you
wonder where we are...... What's taking us so long?
But remember, child, I love you so and God will
keep you strong. Now go outside and feel the
breeze and let it touch your skin........... because
tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in
the wind. May God hold you in His hand
until I can be with you. I promise you,
my darling, I'm doing all that I can do.
Very soon, you'll have a family for real,
not just pretend. But for tonight, just as always,
I blow you kisses in the wind.
May God wrap you in His arms and hold you
very tight. And let the angels bring the kisses
that I send to you each night.

Wonderful Junk Mail

Yesterday I had called our Hague Officer and found out
he still hadn't received our addendum yet.  He told me
he would email our approval once he received and checked
out our paperwork.  I checked later yesterday and today no
email.  A lady from one of the yahoo groups I am a member
of mentioned our post were going into spam.  Hmmm...... I
thought maybe it came and went into our junk mail.  Ahhhhh.....
probably not it hasn't been that long since we talked.  I felt this
nudging to go LOOK. Yup! There it was! Our Officer emailed
about an hour after I had talked to him yesterday.  Letting us
know we were APPROVED!!!!!! He also wrote that he would
send our paperwork out immediately via the mail.

Thank you Jesus!  We are getting closer to bringing
home our sweet girl.

A Glimpse

I was looking at this butterfly, amazed when it spread its wings and I saw the beauty inside.
It reminded me of what the Lord had showed me this past summer. I was struggling over the special needs of our daughter we are in the process of adopting. I started seeing these very strange and plain looking little brown
butterflies. They flew around constantly. Then one day one landed right by me and as it's
wings fluttered open ever so slightly I caught
a glimpse of a beautiful bright orange. A glimpse just wasn't enough! I wanted to see more.......
The Lord spoke to my heart and told me
He was showing me a glimpse of our daughter's inner beauty.

If you pour yourself out to the hungry and
satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then
shall your light rise in the darkness and your
gloom be as the noon day and the Lord will guide you continually.
Isaiah 58:10,11

Give justice to the weak and the fatherless;
maintain the right of the afflicted and the
destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy.
Psalm 82:3,4

When I asked Angela from ladybugsnlove to pick a jade necklace
to send our daughter for her 13th birthday.  A few days later she sent
a picture of the jade BUTTERFLY necklace she picked out and wanted
my approval. I new it was totally the Lord!!!

I never noticed the sign in the first pic until now. :) Something so many of us relate to in adopting as God grows us and teaches us so much while we WAIT on His perfect timing.

Blessings,
Kathy

Praising The Lord!!!!

I just received an email from our FC letting us know we
have our PA!!!!!!
We are pre approved to adopt our daughter.  We have 3 months
to send in our Dossier.  Our officer at the USCIS office had a couple
of questions.  We have sent our answer in.  We are waiting for the
addendum our SW needed to add.  Just talked with her this morning
and she is sending it priority mail to us.  Once I have received it I will
overnight it to the USCIS.  Then wait for them to send us our approved
I-171 form.  Then we run downtown to the Secretary of States
Satellite Office and get their stamp of approval and overnight
them to the Chinese Consulate for their stamp of approval and
once they come back.  We send our Dossier to our agency and they
check it over and they send it to China DTC. (Dossier To China)
We were told that RA(referral acceptance) could take 3 to 5 months.

More waiting on HIS perfect timing.

Blessings,
Kathy

Hague Adoption RFE

We received a letter from USCIS requesting a little more info
on a couple of things.  One was for us to add something to a
statement we submitted with our paperwork.  It is done and
will be in the mail tomorrow.  The other was for our SW to
address and she will have to add an addendum to our HS.
I did call today to make sure I understood everything correctly.
It seemed our officer had left for the day.
The woman on the other end of the phone was so sweet
and caring and  offered to help with my questions.
She was wonderful and so encouraging!
I asked when we would find out our fingerprint results
and shared how mine came back unreadable twice and
how it took three months to get things moving forward.
She asked when we had them done?  I told her Tuesday.
She commented the the results should be in.
They were and MINE WERE READABLE!!!!!!!!
THANK YOU JESUS!!!!

Our FC emailed us explaining she has seen many families
receive these RFE (Request for Information) for various
reasons and once the information is provided  the approval
should come quickly, so hopefully this will be the case here!

Thank you all for your prayers!

Blessings,
Kathy
