Happy Father's Day!

All morning Jaden was teasing her dad about wrapping his Father's Day gifts in pink wrapping paper. Their big brother Chris had picked up one of the gifts for us. I didn't realize how heavy it was and there was no way we could use a gift bag. So we used the only wrapping paper we had... PINK! LOL It was very easy to hide it with all of Chloe's birthday presents.

We put his other gift in a Harley bag and hid it behind Chloe's presents.
Now Chloe is teasing daddy acting like she is going to keep it.
Awww.... she gave in to quick.

A Very Special Birthday.... On Fathers Day!

Three weeks after we arrived home with Chloe we celebrated her first birthday. She was very excited to get presents, yet I know she really didn't understand.
Just like Gotcha Day when her sisters each had their birthday's she wanted to know when she was going to have a birthday. She constantly was asking when it was going to be her birthday.
When she realized her birthday was getting closer she came
up to me and whispered in my ear that she wanted Mac and Cheese
for her birthday dinner. This little girl was beyond excited to have her
very own birthday celebration!
What a difference a year has made in our precious little girls live!
Happy Birthday, Chloe Joy An!
We are so honored & blessed God chose us to be your mommy and daddy!
You are such a Joy!!!
We love you baby girl!

She was so excited to blow out her candles she couldn't wait for
us to stop singing Happy Birthday!
Good job blowing out those candles!
(Takes more concentration for little ones
with repaired cleft lip and palate. The air
tends to come out their nose)
So we relit the candles and let her do it again when we
were done singing and she made her wish.
(great practice for her) ;)

Very excited to get her Hello Kitty Squinkies!
I love this picture! Chloe is such a little character with
such a fun loving personality!
She is so animated. She always makes us laugh with all the different facial expressions she comes up with!
  You made my whole being;
You formed me in my mother's body.
I praise you because you made me in an
      Amazing and wonderful way.
What you have done is wonderful.
          I know this very well.
You saw my bones being formed as I took
             shape in my mother's body.
When I was put together there,
You saw my body as it was formed.
All the days planned for me were written in
Your book before I was one day old.

A Little Celebration

Celebrating Chloe being home a year already!
Wow! This was a fast year!
Eating some of her favorite food!
Noodles!!
Chloe could not wait for her Gotcha Day celebration.
She has talked about it ever since Jaden and Sarah had theirs.

Our prayer..... for her to have a heart for the Lord.
She really wanted to have one of these bracelets like her sissy's.
Even though I bought the smallest size she is so tiny
it may be a while before she can wear it.
She doesn't mind at all. She was just so excited to get her
very own bracelet like the big girls.

I love the charms we can add on it! She has a
butterfly because God used them for each one
of our adoptions. Also an airplane representing
her journey home to be with her forever family!
We can't wait to add more!

We thank God for bringing you home so quickly!
You have been such a blessing and a joy in our
lives this past year. We can't wait to see the plans
God has for you!
We love you Chloe Joy An!!!

A Little More Catching Up...............

I had started another post with pictures leading up to the flight home and they got all mixed up and I can't seem to get them back in the right order. :( So I did them in the post just before this one.

Adopting our first two daughters took over two yrs. for each one. So we were expecting at least two yrs. to get funds together to bring Chloe home instead............
Ten months from when we started to paper chase we arrived home with our newest gift from the Lord!
Even though this time around many thought we were crazy. The Lord kept putting on my heart to trust Him no matter what others would say, no matter what we would see happening in the world, and especially how He was going to provide the funds we needed to bring her home.
He is so faithful!
The one who calls you is faithful and
He will do it.   I Thessalonians 5:24
For with God nothing is impossible. Luke 1:37
Waiting in LA for the last stretch home. Chloe did great on the long
flights and layovers. She is an amazing little girl.
Finally after a long layover we are headed home.
Exhausted
Very tired little girl slowly checking out her new home.
A little overwhelmed.
(I wonder what was going through her little mind)
Quietly looking over the coffee pot as she
checked out the little kitchen. Not sure what
to think of everything. Especially coming from
a very poor orphanage,  they didn't have very many
toys and she didn't have any of her own. Our little
sweet heart slept with everything we had brought
for her in China and even when we first came home.
Even a year later whenever I buy her something she
always says,"THANK-You Mommy!" Even days
later she will come and thank me again.
She is right at home now with her forever family and
is doing so well!  We couldn't be more blessed!
God is so good!!!

Catching Up.................

We met our youngest daughter our precious gift from the Lord!
A year ago May 15........
We met our sweet Chloe Joy An!!!
God has truly blessed us with this precious little girl who has such a loving and sweet heart.
This year has flown by so quickly!
It seems like only yesterday we were in China meeting our newest little treasure!
Handprint for adoption
Officially ours! But God already knew!
She loved playing ball in the room.
I can't seem to get this pic and the one above in the right order.
(I give up)
The one(above)of Jaden and Chloe is the next morning when we went back
to do our adoption paperwork. Chloe didn't want the director from the
orphanage near her and would walk clear across the room to
avoid her and watch to see if she was coming near her.  Check
out that face and the look in her eyes. Poor little sweetie wasn't
sure what was going on. She was afraid the director was going
to take her away from us.
Our precious little girl has been so happy to be with us from
the day we met. Only God could have prepared her little heart for
all the changes in her life.
She is such a brave little girl. She has never looked back.
We have looked at pictures  from China and the orphanage
she says she wants to go visit. Only if mommy goes too!
Fun in the hotel

Hmmmmmm............. I could get used to all of this sightseeing.
Taking it all in and LOVING every minute of it!
Trying to brave stepping down from the side of the road.
She never could get up the courage.
Today she wouldn't  have a problem. She has come so
far in the past year! Thanking and praising the Lord for
all He is doing in her life and ours!
