Two Years Ago...........

We met our daughter Chloe Joy An!
She was very shy at first and wasn't sure
what to think of all that was going on.
Next morning finalizing the adoption! Poor baby girl didn't want to go
back in the room where we met. She was so afraid the director of the
orphanage was going to take her away from us. (not even 24 hrs. later)
I just love how the Lord prepared this little ones heart. She has never
looked back. She is such a precious gift from the our Father in heaven.
Immediately turned into a little tourist.
Home a couple of days and having a blast!

Sweetness!
Three weeks home celebrating her birthday with her forever family!

Home two years and it seems like she has always been a part
of our family.
She has grown SO much! From 2t's
to 4t's and soon to be 7 yrs. old!
Love you, Baby Girl!!!

A Little Bit Of Sarah

This past December we celebrated three yrs. with our Sarah!
I remember when Sarah first came home
 she was afraid of Ziva.
Now she loves our little peanut.

Sarah's first guitar recital!
This was a huge hurdle for her.
Poor girl was a nervous wreck. She is still extremely shy and
won't even talk in front of other people. Even when the family gets
together she stays very quiet. She did not want me to invite anyone.
So we honored her request, this time.
I told her to just close her eyes and imagine she was sitting
at Jesus feet playing for Him. Also reminded her of
 Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens.
Our sweet girl came and thanked me for all the encouraging
words before she went to bed that night.
 In January Sarah turned 17!!
We love you and are so blessed God chose us to be your family!
For her birthday she had a surprise birthday party at the bowling
alley. I forgot to bring the camera. : (  Her choice of cake was a peanut
butter/chocolate ice cream cake.
I know, I know! I am way behind on posting.

Christmas Morning 2012

Merry Christmas! Emanuel God IS with us!
Chloe had to leave Clarice next to the plate of cookies and carrots.
She wanted her to visit with Rudolph when Santa stopped by.
Looks like they enjoyed the treats. ; )
Very excited!
Chloe was so surprised to see something she asked for.
Last year was her very first Christmas and she became very upset
when we brought the tree in the house.  Not this year! She was very excited!
She always makes a little fist up high and pulls her hand down
as she says "Yeeeesh!" When she is excited about something.
Jaden has wanted a DSI for a couple of years.
Since this year it was all she wanted.
 I finally gave in.
Horse game of course.
I think someone was very happy to get the gift she really wanted.
 Ipod Touch!
