A Quiet Friday Evening At Home

NOT!!!
Looks like this one has had its last meal.
Doesn't DH look proud. ;)
(It must be a guy thing)
Yes,  even though it is dead it still tries to strike
and moves as if he is still alive
even shakes its rattles.

Diamondback Rattlesnake

So if you are bored and looking for some exciting
entertainment, Southwest style........ just come on by.

  1. I'm a pretty brave girl...but THAT is horrifying! We have snakes a lot around here but nothing venomous, thankfully!!

Your husband looks like he struck gold. Such a guy thing, for sure! So funny.

  2. Ugh! You can have the southwest life! I'll stay here in the midwest! Scary looking snake! Do they come by and visit you often? I didn't realize that they came that close to homes!

  3. Judi, Unfortunately they come by often
and in various sizes. In town they don't
have a problem. We live outside the city
and have all kinds of wildlife. We have to
be real careful when the girls go out to
play. One of us usually goes out with
them. Our dog was bit by one that was
on our back porch. Not Ziva she is real
smart and warns us growling and barking
as she keeps her distance. She does the
same with scorpions inside and outside
    the house.
